Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 7, 2026
vCoder is a nonprofit organization focused on computer science education. This policy explains how information may be collected and used when you visit www.vcoder.org, subscribe to updates, contact us, or follow links to external services.
Website analytics and advertising measurement
We use Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads measurement tools to understand website visits, improve the site, and measure the results of nonprofit outreach. These tools may use cookies or similar identifiers and collect information about your device, browser, pages visited, and interactions such as newsletter sign-ups or clicks on contact links. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.
Newsletter subscriptions
When you choose to subscribe, the form asks for contact details such as your name and email address. Our newsletter provider, Brevo, processes subscription information and sends vCoder updates. You can unsubscribe using the instructions provided in newsletter emails.
Donations and external websites
Donation buttons may send you to a secure third-party donation service, currently Classy, which handles its own forms and payments under its privacy practices. Other external links, including educational projects and social networks, have their own privacy policies. Please review those policies before sharing information.
How information is used
We use information to provide requested updates, respond to inquiries, understand website performance, and measure nonprofit outreach. Third-party analytics, newsletter, and donation services may process relevant data to provide those functions. We do not operate this website for the purpose of selling newsletter subscribers' personal information.
Children and family privacy
Our educational mission includes young learners. Newsletter and contact inquiries should be submitted by parents, guardians, educators, or other adults rather than by children. Please do not submit a child's personal details through these forms. If you believe a child has shared personal information, contact us so we can review the concern.
Privacy questions
For questions about information associated with vCoder, contact us at our contact page or call (360) 828-3135. This policy may be updated as our services and measurement tools change.
